VRB WOODWORKING

Meet Victor R. Betts
I love the smell of sawdust in the morning!
My lifelong passion for working with wood started in the seventh grade woodworking shop. As the years clicked by with military service, school, having my own family and a career with lots of travel, my passion remained, but I couldn't find much time to pursue the craft. After our daughters moved on with their lives, I started to rekindle my woodworking interests. There is so much to learn. I wasn't clear where to start.
About 20 years ago, I found the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers (GNHW. org). What a discovery! This organization, of 750 plus members, is represented by first time beginners to world class woodworking masters. The purpose of the Guild is to pass on the craft of woodworking.
I like applying old school methods and crafts with new school innovation. Whether milling wood for a project, designing custom pieces, finishing the form and fit, there is the satisfaction of watching the piece evolve to completion.
My eclectic portfolio is a result of many people sharing their visions of pieces they want built.
